Wesley is a place for COMMUNITY
  • FREE WESLEY LUNCH is served every Sunday (Sept - May) from 12:00 - 1:00 pm in Wesley Hall at the First United Methodist Church.  All students are invited . . . and it's FREE!
  • UW students, faculty, and staff are all welcome to a BROWN-BAG LUNCH on Thursdays at noon in The Gardens of the Wyoming Union. Join in lively discussions about any & everything!
  • Wesley students gather for FUN ACTIVITIES such as dinner & movie nights, bowling.

Wesley is a place to GROW IN FAITH

  • Wesley Conversations are each Sunday in Wesley Lounge @ First UMC-Laramie from 10:15 - 11 am.  Students discuss scripture, current events, and anything else that helps us grow in faith.
     
  • Wesley students participate in group discussions, community service, retreats, work trips, and FUN!
  • All students are encouraged to ask the difficult questions we all encounter in our faith journey.  Everyone's experience and viewpoint is respected.

Wesley is a place to ENCOUNTER THE HOLY IN WORSHIP

  • Wesley students are invited to Sunday Worship Services @ First UMC-Laramie.  There are 2 worship services:
    • 9:00 am traditional, but upbeat, service
    • 11:10 am praise service

Wesley is a place to SERVE OTHERS in the name of Jesus Christ

  • Wesley students are spending SPRING BREAK 2010 working at the new UMCOR-West Depot in Salt Lake City.  We will help the Depot staff & volunteers to sort through and organize all the donations sent to the Depot. 
  • Wesley students volunteer at the Laramie Soup Kitchen.
  • Plans are to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity of Albany County (WY).
  • Wesley students volunteer to help with many of the ministries of First UMC-Laramie.
